Kakadu Specials, Holiday Deals and Accommodation Packages

Kakadu National Park is one of Northern Territory's most visited places when it comes to international tourists. It is home to ancient Aboriginal rock art, sensational scenery and unique wildlife. There are only a limited number of places to stay in Kakadu so you need to be sure you book well in advance. It is only during the slower months that you will find travel specials or holiday deals in the Kakadu region. Because it is on every ones itinerary, there are always tours coming through that require accommodation for their passengers and these are always booked well in advance and this puts what is left at a premium.

There are only three resorts in the area plus a caravan park to cater for all the motorhome and campervan travellers. The nearest town to the south is Katherine, however it also suffers from a limited amount of accommodation and that is always required for tour passengers visiting Katherine Gorge. So as you can see, finding special rates here in Kakadu is difficult and usually only available during the off season.
